Simon's "America" was recorded as Yes' contribution to Atlantic Records issue "Age of Atlantic" in the mid 70's and is worth owning the CD on it's own merit! This is prog-rock/jazzed up so well it's /5(62).

First-time gram vinyl LP release First-time gatefold jacket featuring Roger Dean's stunning art! Yes are an English rock band who achieved worldwide success with the progressive genre, their elaborate cover art and live stage sets, and symphonic style of rock music.

Many reviews of this album point to the inclusion of the cover version of Simon and Garfunkel's America as the only high point. Well good as this track is - I first heard it on Radio 1 and had to get it on vinyl years ago - Yesterday's also acts as a fine introduction for fans from the Fragile era onwards (such as myself) to the early music of Yes/5(56).

Yesterdays is a compilation album by English progressive rock band Yes, originally released in February by Atlantic Records. This remastered LP on gram heavyweight audiophile vinyl in a gatefold sleeve is pressed in the USA by Friday Music.

third and fourth albums (The Yes Album and Fragile), the cover versions had vanished and the originals nvenogrerenofe.teatchebutsawbcatilismvidibalbestdisf.codays serves as an illustration of the band's earlier phase. It consists of two tracks from their first album and four from their second, plus an obscure B-side to a single and a ten-minute version of Paul Simon's "America" (previously available only on a British sampler.
